Specialized Instrumentation

The Eye Center has the latest in Opthalmic Equipment to make sure our patients recieve the best of care. This includes:   

Retinal Photodocumentation of the Eye - a full color photograph of the back of the eye which allows us to provide a more thorough analyisis of a patient’s eye and helps us to diagnose or monitor eye diseases like glaucoma, macular degeneration, cancerous lesions, hypertensive retinopathy (from systemic high blood pressure), diabetic retinopathy, optic nerve abnormalities which may be caused by multiple sclerosis, brain tumors and brain lesions.

Visual Field Analysis - This procedure allows us to moniter and determine the overall functioning of an individual's periperal vision. Loss of peripheral field vision may be secondary to glaucoma, brain tumors or lesions, retinal detachment, and retinal bleeding.
